Can't beat it for the price
Customer Rating:I bought this to replace an older ASUS board that fried (Pepsi Syndrome). Everything about it is just as advertised. It was a snap to set up, and it lit up on the first try (the first one I received was DOA, but Amazon replaced it with zero hassle. This is why I buy almost exclusively from Amazon). I am recommeding this MB to friends, and I plan to buy another one for my son's computer.
best motherboard ever!
Customer Rating:best motherboard for the Q9550!!
highly recommended!
Thumbs up to Amazon for the speed of the international shipping.
!!SUPER AWESOME MOTHERBOARD!!
Customer Rating:Great motherboard when you just want a nice system built from old parts laying around. It is pretty stable and can handle some overclocking. I got my Pentium D960 to 4.2Ghz, Ran OCCT test and it was successful (love watching my CPU use 100% on both core) Anyways I will probably upgrade this system to core 2 quad soon. Nice layout, playable framerates , good deal!

Great P45 Motherboard
Customer Rating:I needed to upgrade an old PC so I started looking for a new Motherboard. I already own the Asus P5Q-Deluxe so I thought I would buy another one. I couldn't find it anywhere so after alot of research I decided to buy this board.
I put a Q9550 in this board with G.Skill 5-5-5-15 1066 memory and everything worked without a hitch. I currently have it overclocked to 3.6ghz with smaill bios tweeks. I haven't tried any higher but I'll probably get this board up to 4ghz from what i've read so far.
Both the P5Q Deluxe and EP45-UD3P are great boards. I would buy either one again. They both have little quirks with the fans (I use speedfan to control my fan speeds). The plus with the Gigabyte is you can use a 3-pin CPU fan and still control the fan speed since it supports the ability to control the voltage in the Bios. The P5Q doesn't support this so i needed a 4-pin CPU fan. A plus for the Gigabyte.
The P5Q has more fan headers and they work with speedfan. The Gigabyte only has 2 (usable) headers (excluding the cpu fan) and only 1 can be controlled by speedfan. I had to remove my top fan and use a Antec fan with a 3-speed switch. A plus for the Asus.
Rev 1.6 is terrible
Customer Rating:I've had terrible troubles with this board from day one. Bad ram slots to start with - 2 out of 4. I figured since I only wanted to use 2 sticks, I would make do, but over time the board fried another stick of ram and now hangs randomly. I'm never, ever going with GIGABYTE again.
