Cooler Master extends the line to a mid tower with the HAF 922. It has a rugged strong appearance and outstanding protection designs that characterize a beast yet to be tamed. Without a doubt this mid tower has it all! It accommodates all sorts of high-end hardware from its spacious interior, and supports up to three 200 mm fans for maximum airflow at minimum noise. This mid tower chassis represents a disorderly collision of machine and beast.

Big and Cool

After reading review after review on different cases I finally decided on this one. I am glad that I did. There is a ton of room to work in this case and it has the room to support the larger video cards and power supplies out there. I was worried about the HAF printed on the side being obnoxious but it doesn't look as bad IRL as it did in the pics. Make sure you check the dimensions, the case was a little bigger than I thought it was going to be but it didn't end up being a problem.

Everything mounts and aligns properly with minimal effort. Routing wires in this case is a joy when compared to some of the other cases I have used. They throw in some zip ties and with them you can neatly and effortlessly route and hide most of your cables. They give you enough space under the motherboard tray that you don't need to pack the wires and try to get the side of the case on before they all pop out like with some other cases. I agree with others that the case sides could slide into place a little easier but I have dealt with worse.

The included fans are quiet. I ended up replacing the rear 120mm fan with a Noctua and adding a couple more 120mm Noctuas to the side panel. They aren't pretty being brown and all but they are very quiet. There are no removable filters that I see but it does look like there is a finer grade of mesh behind the outer mesh in the front. I have always found that I get just as much buildup inside whether I have filters or not. Twice a year I just take my PC outside and hit it with compressed air from a air compressor. Any dust buildup is solved in a few minutes.

All the drive mounting hardware seems to function well. I like the removable drive trays. They seem easy to work well and help reduce the drive noise. I didn't use any internal optical drives in my build but the push button mounting seems like it would function well.

All in all I think this is a great case and expect it to be spending quite a few years in service. It is going to take something pretty special to make me want to give up this case and even then I'll probably just keep it as a second box.

The HAF 922 is a sweet case, There alot of room in the inside, It hold's my Asus Rampage II Extreme, two EVGA Gtx 260's and a Killer(tm) Xeno(tm) Pro. I use a H50 cpu cooler which's fits great on the back 120 fan mount spot (they have a cooler master 120mm fan install there stock)with this case i was able to do the duel fan set up with the 200mm fan still mounted on the left side of the case ( not a window so i wont call it a window) Another sweet feature about this case is the fact that PSU is on the bottom of the system and keeps all the heat out of the case. The Led button to turn the fan LED's off work's great it's not something i really cared about in the case till the first night and i was able to sleep without looking a Blue or red LED all night. I would say that the case is a sweet case and cost was nothing compared to a Full size tower which you can almost say it is since it is almost the same size as the HAF 932. The case is made very well, there is little parts that can be broking unless your trying. Well thats all i can say about the case, I love it and find it to be a great Case for what i wanted. (also if you buy the Left side 200mm fan it's face's inwards towards the CPU, almost nothing is said about this fan anywhere they reviewed the case or on the (...) website, but i thought it be nice to know)

Really good investment

Pros: Has a large amount o space for ease of use, cable management and better airflow,
quick connect drive bays and tool less installation. Is very quiet compared to other cases I've seen.
Best bang for your buck.

Cons: For an intel board it is a bit tough to get a Corsair H50 cooling system installed,
Mobo Panel is not removable, It's not black inside, And dust guards are a pain to get to.

Overall: This is a very nice case, It's only $100 and it has alot of features that you would see on a a $150+ case.
I'am satisfied with this Purchase and will be a coolermaster customer for future cases.

Best case I have ever had. Truly tool-less, and drives fit perfectly. The large fans are quiet. The cable management system is simple yet very effective.

Perfect gaming case

This case is perfect for a new build. I used it on my first build with the i7 ($199 at microcenter) 920, ASUS Rampage, ASUS 5850, etc etc. This case has amazing airflow with just a stock cooler, never hitting anything over 55C even playing Mass Effect 2 at max settings. Very easy to install, everything is labeled for ease of use. mATX and ATX are letter coded, all screws and hardware included. Highly recommended. Just a note, this is a monster case and very heavy. But if you are looking at this rig than you probably arent going for a small form factor PC anyway (definitly not an HTPC case). Easily 5 stars.
