Customer Rating:Well i am a gamer, so i got this processor, with samsung spinpoint harddrive, patriot ddr3 viper series (6gb), evga p55 sli, a bfg 9800gtx+ with 1gb ddr2 ram, an antec trupower 1000w power supply, and an antec 1200 case. This processor, according to windows 7 pro x64 bit, says that there are 8 cores in device manager, and runs at 2.8 ghz. Due to the turbo boost technology, when i am gaming, the thing will speed up, but computer maintains an 36 degrees inside the case. This case is super duper cool, and keeps your things cool too.
Rocks. 16 Cores (actual + virtual) Can't go wrong. VM's all the way.

Whenever I try to install Windows it is restarted, I have changed the memory(report), the hard disk and the card of video and always equally. I am expecting to be able to acquire a new motherboard to try.
