CM 690 II Advanced raises the bar again with practical improvements over the top-selling CM 690. The spacious mid-tower will keep enthusiasts happy with room for up to 3 vga cards, high-end CPU coolers, top or bottom mount water cooling radiator and 1.8"/2.5" drive adapter. It also features much improved airflow with oversized mesh (0.7 SECC) and enough space for up to 10 fans. Maintenance will be a breeze with the tool-free drive bays, new cable management and CPU cooler retention hole.

I started with a Thermaltake V9 black edition. God that was a piece of junk. This case is much, much better made. Really, the only downside is the weight. This is not the case you want to lug to a LAN party (got get a fancy aluminum one). However if you aren't going to be moving it a lot, this case is as good as any out there and a heck of a lot cheaper. Decking it out with fans will add about 50 bucks to the price (depending on quality, etc.) so factor that in. But seriously get this case.

As a plus it is very attractive. Not too "over the top" like some designs, though it has the space to add lights/ect. if you want to rice it up. I'm not a CM fanboy btw. In fact my current favorite CPU cooler is the Thermaltake Frio (its too bad their case was completely awful).

great case

...it's almost perfect, I like it very much and for the price I don't know if any case can beat this one. The only thing I would change is the size of the opening in the back panel for the processor cooler mount. I have a Corsair H50 cooler and I though I'd be able to install it while the motherboard is in the case, but the bottom edge of the cutout is too high and you HAVE TO install the back plate while the board is out, then do the rest. It's no biggie.
Push-pull installation of H50 can be done, you just have to install smaller fan in the upper part of side panel, if you really want to use all the fans.
I'm picky about design of things and I did a lot of research before the purchase, trust me, you won't go wrong with this one. Buy it.

Almost missed out on a classic.

This case has gotten enough press and reviews already. Don't need to tell you everything it has because you probably already know if you've made it this far. I was looking for a case with good cable management, looks, build quality, good options for airflow, and most important, reasonably priced . This case fit the bill in every way, even better than my Antec P182 that I was giving up. I moved my rig into this case, and it looks too sweet. I'm just glad it worked out(I canceled a pre-order for an NZXT Phantom for this case). Top notch product from Cooler Master. Thanks Amazon for getting it to me unscathed, on a Saturday(One Day Shipping), bright and early.

If you have any doubts about getting this product from Cooler Master, don't, it has everything you could need, and more. Go check it out at your local PC store, say "Wow, that's awesome." Then get one for yourself...... Don't forget the windowed side panel, also a must have.

Gorgeous, functional and affordable

I'm thrilled with my purchase of this case. For what you get, it's relatively inexpensive. The external SATA dock has come in handy on more than one occasion already. Being able to toggle the front fan's LED on and off is a welcome feature. Its external curves look great. As for the inside, the hard drive cages are great and so are the optical drive mounts. The all black interior, along with the numerous holes to hide wires behind the motherboard make creating a tidy case a breeze.

I highly recommend this case.

better than some cases that cost twice as much

this case has been reviewed to death already lol, so i wont get into it beyond saying that this case is a steal at its price: it has the quality and style of a much more expensive case. the reason im writing this is to list some details that don't come up in the reviews or spec sheets, but are very useful to know before buying a case. so without wasting any more space, here goes:

-bottom mounted PSU = long reach for the ATX cord, buy a extension for your psu if you plan on routing it behinf the motherboard tray
-wiring is still a pain despite the features to make it easier, plan on spending hours working on it if you dont go with a modular psu
-very few lighted 80x15mm fans are available, and they are all blue. (this is the fan that mounts on the panel behind the CPU)
-bottom mounted PSU and fans suck up a lot of dust, but removable filters are included
-plan to buy a fan controller, this thing holds up to 7 fans and is about as soundproof as a hole in the wall
-on/off switch for the front fan's LED can be modified to control a cold-cathode inverter
-mesh bay covers means you cant stuff wires into empty 5.25 bays without them being obvious
-top fans can be mounted inside the top mesh panel, but only if done before installing the mobo
-tool-less 5.25 bays are a little lose and are not adjustable, plan to screw your drives in
-HD racks use slide-in caddys, so no room for HD coolers or fans
-wires from a fan controler can be routed through the top panel above the drive cage, but top panel must be removed first
